As time went on, Charlie & the Seniors became very well known, and very popular throughout many parts of Canada and the States,
and as some of the original members of the band left for one reason or another, they were replaced by other fine performers! Mike Bonin,
(one of the original Rythm & Lead guitarists, was replaced by, Rick Bjelland, a very fine saxaphone/keyboard player, who also sang lead and backup vocals.

Frank Burghoffer, (Original Drummer), was later replaced by, Jim Neufeld, who later became know as, " Jumpin Jimmy ",
because of the large amount of energy he always displayed during his performance on stage. Truely a fine drummer, vocalist, and entertainer.

Charlie himself left the band later down the road and another guitar/vocalist was brought in to replace him by the name of, Bruce Ginn.
Eventually, Bruce also left the band while in Anchorage Alaska, and to replace him, we flew in, Tom McCann, a long time friend of Steve Stunning,
the original bass player who was with the band
until it's very end.

There was actually one more person who became a member of the band at one time. Bill Capp, (seen at lower right of this picture), was a member for a while, but did not stay with the band very long. Still, he was a very fine guitar player and vocalist! The long story made shorter, Eventually most of the original members left the band for different reasons, including Charlie him self, Frank Burghoffer, Mike Bonin, and myself, Dan Saville. The band of Charlie & the Seniors, pretty much folded around 1980, and the two remaining members being Steve Prescott, (Original Bass player), and Jimmy Neufeld, (The second Drummer), went on to become a band called, "The Rocky Vasalino Show", which some of you may also remember. Also a very fine show band that went on to play throughout many parts of Canada and the United States. WHAT ARE CHARLIE & THE SENIORS UP TO THESE DAYS?
UPDATE! I was successful in finding "Bill Capp" this last April 17th in Bellingham Washington after more than 40 years. We had a great reunion and talked a lot about the Band years. We agreed to stay in touch, and not make it so long between visits this time........................................................................... ...........................................
